Thanksgiving Crafts in Spain

                    "Stuff The Turkey"

For Thanksgiving, I explained the meaning of this holiday, when it is celebrated and a few American traditions. I also talked about the different thanksgiving day foods like stuffing and the term "stuff the turkey". To tie it all together, I prepared a craft that allowed the children to improve their English reading and writing skills as well as fine motor and artistic abilities. They colored a turkey, traced their hands, cut them out, painted an empty Kleenex box, and put the materials together forming a turkey. Lastly, the students wrote messages about things they were thankful for and put the messages inside of their craft turkeys (stuffing the turkey with thank you notes).
